Registration for the Fall Private Pilot ground school is open from July 15th!
Winnipeg Aviation operates three Private Pilot Ground School sessions each year: January to April, April through June, and September to December. Ground School is conducted on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:30pm until 9:00pm in our classroom at Winnipeg Aviation. There is no on-line availability for the course; students must be located in the Winnipeg area at the commencement of the session. The course runs for approximately 12 weeks (24 evenings), however the actual end date will depend on holidays occurring during the session.
Please complete the information below in order to sign-up for our next ground school session. Note that a maximum of 20 seats are available, and they are on a first-come, first-served basis. If you sign-up after we receive 20 names, you will automatically be placed on our waiting list for the session.
Costs are as follows:
- Tuition: $462 ($440 + GST) – A $105 non-refundable deposit ($100 plus GST) is payable immediately upon registration to save your spot. Winnipeg Aviation will contact you via e-mail to arrange for payment unless you are on the waiting list. The balance of the tuition ($357 including GST) is due two weeks prior to commencement of the first class of the session. Refunds of this amount will only be entertained for students dropping-out prior to the third evening of the course.
